Super striker Ayomide names Osimhen as role model, dreams National Team appearance

Few days after signing a 2-year deal with Turkish club Igdir F.K, Ibadan-born striker Ayomide Wahab has named Super Eagles hitman Victor Osimhen as his role model.

Wahab claimed that he has been watching the former Napoli man for the past five years adding that Osimhen always gives him inspiration.

The SCL Football Academy of Ibadan product added that he looks forward to meeting Victor Osimhen most especially now that he also plays in Turkey.

"I grew up watching Cristiano Ronaldo, but later Victor Osimhen becomes my role model because he's a super striker.

"Osimhen gives me inspiration and most times I do watch his clips and pick many things from him which is helping me as a striker.

"Now that I'm playing in Turkey, I look forward to the day I'll meet Osimhen for me to hug him," Ayomide Wahab explained.

Speaking about all the Nigerian national teams, Ayomide Wahab made it clear that his dream is to represent Nigeria in the future and make the West African Nation proud.
