The management of Kano Pillars has released eight players after the expiration of their contracts.
A statement from the Media & Communications Directorate of the club said their efforts and services to the club would always be appreciated while they will remain valued members of the club's family.
"The club expresses its sincere appreciation to the players for their commitment, professionalism and contributions during their time with Sai Masu Gida.
"On behalf of the management, technical crew, staff and supporters of the Sai Masu Gida, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of them and wish them success in the next chapter of their respective careers.
"We thank them for their dedication and wish them the very best in all their future endeavours," the statement reads.
The affected players are Muhammad Galadima, Ugochukwu Gabriel, Zahraddeen Bello, Williams Ayuba, Bernard Ovoke, Christian Izuchukwu, Sudais Ali Baba and Aliyu Yakubu.
