Edo Queens’ sensational forward Atume Doosuur, has said that she is happier on the pitch of play each time she scored a goal for her side.
Atume who has become a force to be reckoned with in the team’s progress since joining them this season said she is working very hard to become the highest goal scorer in the Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL.
She also expressed optimism that Edo Queens have all it takes to become champions of the league.
Doosuur, who has scored a total of six goals in nine games has promised to score more goals for Edo Queens if given the opportunity.
”I want to thank God for giving me strength. I also want to thank Him for the opportunity to play for Edo Queens, I appreciate my coaches, my colleagues and all members of the team for their support.
Yes I have scored a total of six goals in the first phase of the league, I give glory to God that we have ended the first quarter of the NWFL successfully without injuries.”
”I’m very happy that I have been able to score six goals in nine matches, my ambition and dream is to continue to score goals and possibly become the highest goal scorer for the season.”

Edo Queens will on Wednesday March 11th 2026, take on Bayelsa Queens FC in the second round of the NWFL at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin City.
