The Financial Consultant to Green Atlas Football Club, Vincent Akinbami (FCA) has promised to work with the chairman of the club, Dr Tayo Moses Adebisi to make it a financial sustainable football club in a short while.

Akinbami, a chartered accountant who was recently awarded a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, said he intends to make Green Atlas a model for other clubs to emulate.

He said the chairman of the club Dr Tayo Moses Adebisi, a business man, wants to show how a football club should be run like a purely business model and he is ready to give it everything now, so that the club can be self sustainable.

According to Akinbami, Dr Adebisi has brought in a good technical crew led by coach Shola Adewuyi, a former Remo Stars, Kogi United, Malumfashi FC, Kada Stars and Akwa United coach with Sikiru Onaolapo as the team manager to lead the management team.

Onaolapo was Ranchers Bee's secretary from the late 90s to 2013. He also worked with DSS Football Club in the NNL as well as M& D Football Club.

Green Atlas took part in the 2025/2026 FA Cup and Nationwide League One (NLO) last season.

Akinbami, a vice presidential aspirant in the 2015 Nigeria presidential election under NEPP, former SSA on Sport Development under former Governor of  Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, said very soon, the president of the club will not have to deep his hands into his pocket to run the club, as all machineries are being put in place to ensure the club is financially sustainable.

The former vice chairman of Osun United and former Ranchers Bees media officer said, "Come June 30, 2026, the club will end it financial year and come up with an Audited account that would be submitted to the Nigeria revenue service.
