Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen has extracted a promise from Galatasaray president, Dursun Ozbek to reward the players a bonus of €5 million (about N6.9 billion) should they eliminate Liverpool and advance to the quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League.

Galatasaray recently got a million dollars (about N1,395 billion) as win-bonus when they won the recent Istanbul Derby against Besiktas and now striker Victor Osimhen has got the club President to agree on a record-breaking bonus should they eliminate Liverpool and advance to the quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League.

The Turkish champions take a 1-0 lead going into Wednesday’s return leg at Anfield.

Le Marca Sports quoted Ali Naci Kucuk as saying: “Victor Osimhen said, ‘if we eliminate Liverpool, let the bonus by €5 million’ and President Dursun Ozbek accepted this.”

For eliminating Juventus in the Round of 16, Galatasaray earned over $11 million (about N15,347 billion) in prize money and will earn over $12 million (about N16,743 billion) should they beat Liverpool and qualify to the quarterfinal of the Champions League.
