Doma Utd appoint Akin Maxwell Sporting Director 

Newly Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) team, Doma United have appointed  Akin Maxwell as the club's Sporting Director.

The experienced, astute and ethical football administrator, fondly known as "Last Joker", joins the Gombe based side after serving as Chairman of Osun United and as scribe of Shooting Stars.

The club is confident that his proven track record in club management and football administration will help transform Doma United on and off the pitch.

A big addition to the Savannah Tigers’ backroom team.

Reacting to his appointment, Maxwell told www.sportsunlimited.ng that he hopes to contribute meaningfully to the aspirations of Doma United.

"This is special assignment for me and I want to thank the management for the opportunity to serve the club.

"It's an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the development of Doma United and by the grace of God, we are going to make the team a model for others," he said.
