Kebbi to build 15,000 capacity stadium

Kebbi State Government has kicked off arrangements in collaboration with Turkey professionals to build new indoor stadium with 15,000 capacity.

Commissioner for Sports and Youths Development, Nurudeen Bala Fingilla disclosed this during interaction with newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.

He said: "His Excellency has profiled new stadium. In fact, the Governor invited these professionals from Turkey and they provided different samples of many international stadium.

"The Governor complaint was that the capacity they gave were too low. He suggested that he want 15,000 capacity because they brought 6-7,000 capacity.

"So, as I am talking to you now,they were given the task to go back to develop stadium with 15,000 capacity. Very soon, you shall hear what would happen.

"It will be an indoor stadium where all the activities will be taken place",.

Fingilla added that his Ministry since Governor Nasir Idris came on board, have empowered alot of youths on various skills, given them employments and registered about 755 youths associations.
