Best African Tiktoker to walk home with N100m

A total of N100 million will be won by the best Tiktoker in the 4th African Tiktok Challenge holding in Lagos.

According to the President of Tik African Challenge, Yannick Abalti, 13 selected Tiktok Influencers and Content Creators across Africa including Nigeria are participating in the 12-day challenge holding at the Best Western Hotel Plus, Ikeja, Lagos to celebrate African cultures as well as empowering the youth of the continent.

Abalti added that the participants were selected based on their followers, stressing that the least of them had ranked up to one million views and visits on their respective handles.

He said the elimination series to produce the winner would be determined by the number of votes accumulated during the 12-day period.

The president added that 40 percent of the N100 million earnings would go children development in the country of the winner.

The first and third editions of the challenge series were held in Cote d' Ivoire while the second edition took place in Morocco during the African Cup of Nations, where the decision to stage the fourth in Nigeria was decided.

Among the countries participating are Cote d' Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Sudan, Ethiopia, Togo, Mauritania, Guinea, Cameroon and Nigeria.

"We want to go round Africa for the youth to integrate with the cultural diversity and to empower them positively," Abalti said.

Apart from the overall winner, others would go home with 10 percent of their earnings calculated through the votes they received throughout the duration of the challenge, according to the Tik Africa Challenge president.
