Coach Aliyu says El-Kanemi not built around him

Flying Eagles coach, Zubairu Aliyu says without him El-Kanemi Warriors are solid enough to win the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title.

Coach Aliyu, while reacting to a question why the team remains unbeaten despite his being away as the Flying Eagles coach, said "El-Kanemi had a good preparation, majority of players were retained,the understanding is there, we have a playing structures that is working," he said.

Coac Aliyu added that all his assistants understand his to training and matches.
"We operate in a family atmosphere, me and my assistants understand ourselves. We don't even miss players, two are with the under 20 and four with under 23. Despíte that we drew the likes of Rivers United in Port Harcourt. It's not easy to loose seven regular players and still execute matches successfully.
" What is working for us is the togetherness, the structure that have been built that is helping out philosophy," Aliyu said.
