The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye, has been waxing lyrical about the positive impacts of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the federal government, on the country, particularly, the impressionable and restive Nigerian youths. 

Speaking with Sports Chronicle Magazine, the renowned politician and grassroots sports expert, was quick to recall the recent enthusiasm in Nigerian sports and the recent impressive performances of Nigerian athletes on the continental and global stages. 

"I'm proud and confident to state that His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has somewhat, revolutionised sports and youth development in Nigeria. 

"Nigeria youths across all strata of the society, are beginning to feel and enjoy the benefits of this government. We must note the great impacts of the NELFUND programme, which has renewed the belief of the youths and of course, boosted their patriotism and love for the government of President Bola Tinubu," he remarked. 

Adeboye, fondly called Zulu Baba Ewe, by his teeming admirers, expectedly, reserved commendations for the duo of Mallam Shehu Dikko and Bukola Olopade, who serves as, Chairman and Director-General of the National Sports Commission, respectively, for their honestly, integrity and innovations, in managing the affairs of Nigerian sports.

"Nigerian athletes now believe strongly in the leadership of Nigerian sports. This is hinged on the honesty and integrity showed by the leadership of the NSC, which is greatly buoyed by the commitment of President Bola Tinubu, to the empowerment and betterment of Nigeria," he stated.

He equally noted the ongoing impressive performances of Nigerian athletes at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, where Nigeria has been dominating, and of course, the fulfilled rewards and of course, the on-the-spot payments of performances bonuses to the athletes, which he added, has been boosting the performances of the Nigerian athletes.
