Atiku congratulates Arsenal on EPL title after 22 years 

Nigeria's former Vice President and a staunch fan of Arsenal Football Club of England, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has joined millions of fans all over the world to celebrate the trophy-winning team.

Arsenal, like Alhaji Atiku, had toiled for 22 years in search of the English Premier League title until Tuesday when Manchester City's handed the trophy to the Gunners after failing to beat Bournemouth in a must win game.

In a statement on his X handle, Alhaji Atiku said Arsenal's triumph "is a testament to resilience, discipline, teamwork and the courage to keep believing even when the odds seemed difficult.

"As a proud supporter, tonight (Tuesday night) is special. Well done to the players, the manager, and the incredible fans who never stopped believing. North London is red again". 

"Congratulations to Arsenal on a well-deserved Premier League victory," he said.
