Wikki Tourists announce death of its former chairman, Chindo

The management of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi has announced the passing of the club's former chairman, Alhaji Sule Chindo.

A statement from the club's media office announcing the death of the foremost club administrator quoted the chairman, Alhaji Salmanu Abubakar, extending the club's heartfelt condolences to the deceased family on behalf of the management, technical crew, players and supporters.

The statement added that of Alhaji Chindo who passed away in the early hours of today after a prolonged illness.

Alhaji Chindo served as Chairman of Wikki Tourists FC from 2007 to 2015 and made remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the club. 

"His leadership, commitment and passion for football played a significant role in strengthening the foundation of Wikki Tourists and advancing the club's fortunes during his tenure.

"His dedication to the game and unwavering support for the club will always be remembered by the Wikki Tourists family and the football community at large," the statement said.

The club prays Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
