Samsunspor trying to hijack Iheanacho from Celtic grips

A Turkish club is trying to hijack Celtic' s move for Kelechi Iheanacho, according to a report.
The Nigerian international striker was released from his contract by Sevilla last night, giving the Hoops some time to negotiate with the former Man City and Leicester star after a shambolic transfer window closed on the champions.
Fans have been left fuming at a lack of investment, with moves for several targets on Deadline Day falling by the wayside.
Tunisian winger Sebstaian Tounekti did arrive in a £5.5million deal, but that hasn't been enough to quell fans' anger.
Now Turkish outlet Samsun Gazetesi claim that Samsunspor is attempting to muscle in on their move for Iheanacho.
Reports claim that there's a two-year deal on the table at Parkhead with the option of a third, whilst Greek media claims Celtic has a verbal agreement in place with Iheanacho.
Saudi Arabian interest has also been mooted as Brendan Rodgers tries to secure a reunion with his former forward.
