NRA suspends Katar Mohammed
By Our Correspondent
The Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) has come hard on referee Katar Mohammed from Niger State for his alleged poor handling of the Katsina United and Heartland game at the weekend.
www.sportsunlimited.ng can confirm that referee Mohammed has been suspended indefinitely by the NRA and could face further sanctions upon the full review of the match's report.
A top official of the NRA confirmed that referee Mohammed allegedly made some questionable decisions that eventually influenced the final result of the match.
It would be recalled that Heartland were coasting home to their first away victory until the referee awarded a 90th minute penalty for the home team to stalemate the game at 1-1.
