Falconents 'll wipe away WAFCON 2026 tears with U-20 World Cup - Rano

The media officer of the Falconents, Nigeria's under 20 team, Zulfa'at Rano as said that the team will wipe the tears of Nigerians by winning the female Under 20 World Cup.

Though she admitted there would be pressure on the girls to deliver after the poor performance of the Super Falcons, she nonetheless assured that the Falconents will do Nigeria proud..

"The girls are young and determined, coupled with the fact that they have set of coaches who are good and also working on their psyche, Rano said.

She added that the girls are the future of Nigeria female football.

The coaches are awesome and highly tactical

Also speaking,one of the assistant coaches Mansur Abdullahi said the girls are young and most of them were picked from the NWFL, that one of them , queen Joseph does not play for a league team.

We took our time to scout and screen, so some of the best legs are with us.

Nigeria falconent are in group F and are in the same group with Spain , china and new Caledonia. The under 20 world cup starts on the 5th of September and finishes on the 27th of September
