Ikorodu City, Inter Lagos, Sunshine Stars asserted their dominance in their MatchDay 2 fixtures of the Ogunjobi Gold Cup, with the heavyweights recording emphatic wins.

Inter Lagos set the pace for the day, putting two goals past Abakaliki FC inside the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.

It was a drab opening 45 minutes that had few shots on target, with Inter Lagos not converting their half chances, while De Rice Boys couldn't break their opponent's backline.

It was a mix of events for Stormers SC and Doma United, as both teams, who are yet to earn a point, suffered a second loss each.

Doma United paid the price for not taking their chances; at the end shipped in two goals, one a penalty, within six minutes, from Abass Yakubu 71th and Gabriel Adepoju on 77'th minute.
