NFF spent N72m for U-17 accommodation in 39 days

A top official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has disclosed to www.sportsunlimited.com that federation, the body responsible for the running and managing football in Nigeria spent a whopping sum of N72m for Nigeria cadet team, the U-17 on accommodation for 39 days during its last camping in Abuja.
Recently, the NFF President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, spoke with Osasu Obayiuwana, where he lamented about the huge bills the football house is spending on accommodation for the national teams.
"As a federation, we are spending so much on hotel bills, especially for our youth teams. Imagine camping players for several months and hotels giving us a bill of N15,000. for a single meal per player," he was quoted as saying.
