An ex- Nigeria football team coach, has cried out that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is owing him about N98 million , 15 months unpaid salary N30 million and $20,000.00 qualifications bonus for qualifying Nigeria to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina in 2023
The coach who prefers to remain anonymous said that the NFF is owing him about N98 million accumulated salaries and bonuses and he has duly documented his claims with the Federation.
He lamented that the NFF is owing coaches unpaid salaries for the past 10 years.
" They have been agitation urging me to write a formal complaint to the authorities, including the National Assembly, the National Sports Commission (NSC) but I refused believing that wisdom will prevail," he said.
"All the NFF board members and management that accompanied the team to the U - 20 World Cup in Argentina have been paid their estecodes, only the players and coaches that are still being owed," he lamented.
"We qualify the team from Niger (WAFU) to Egypt (AFCON) and to the World Cup in Argentina we have not received a dime "
" My record of indebtedness is with the General Secretary, and I have my duly acknowledged copy with me, incase should the NFF say they don't have my records, " he concluded.
