Kaduna Township Stadium ready in six weeks -Mamman Lagos

As a measure to assure Kaduna football fans who are not happy with the closure of the Kaduna Township Stadium, the state government has assuade their feelings.

The state Commissioner for Local Government,  Alhaji Sadiq Mamman Lagos has promised that the stadium would be open for use in six weeks time.

According to the former football administrator, the popular side, cover seat, the score board, the track and some other things have not been fixed.

He said that the state government is aware that the Nigeria Premier Football League has started with Kaduna based team, Ranchers Bees participating.

" Government is very sensitive to the yearnings of the people. They have been starved of NPFL actions for a long time and are eager to watch their team, Ranchers Bees. That is why the government wants to do everything to quickly put the stadium in place for use 

"Ranchers Bees is a house hold name in Nigeria football and we want to ensure they come back to start playing their matches at home.

"The Kaduna State government will open the stadium in a grand style and also give it support to Ranchers Bees financially," the Commissioner assured.
