Edo Queens Football fraternity have praised the incredible support work ethics of the Executive Governor His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, Chairman of Edo State Sports Commission Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, and other football pundits in the State for their unwavering supports throughout 2025/26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), premiership season.

After an astonishing performance at the just concluded league season where the brilliant Monday Okpebholo, ladies emerged Premiership champions. The girls decided to thank the entire Edo State people for their huge supports.

Edo Queens tactician Moses Aduku, the General Manager Rollanson Odeh, club's captain Deborah Odiagbe, the highest goal scorer of the season Atume Doosuur, others poured encomiums on the entire management for their supportive rolled played in the club's successes.

The resilient Edo Queens ladies, were crowned champions of the Nigeria Women Football League NWFL premiership after their conquest in Port Harcourt Rivers State.

For Coach Moses Aduku, he said: "It can only be God. And all glory goes to Him. As a united team, I say we are so happy for a dream come through. We worked tirelessly for it and prayed to God to help us, He heard our prayers and crowned our efforts with success so we return all glory to Him."

"For our chief sponsor, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State, on behalf of the entire team I thank him so very much for his huge supports. Words are not enough to thank you sir, I pray for more wisdom for him , I promise that we won't disappoint the state as we prepare to represent Nigeria at the Continental level. Our Governor we thank you so very much for everything."

"Moreso, I want to specially thank our Chairman Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, for his unwavering supports. He was there for us from the beginning to end of the premiership season till the last day we lifted the trophy in Port Harcourt. So may God continue to bless you. On behalf of the entire squad I say thank you sir."

For the captain Deborah Odiagbe, she said:

"In fact I'm the most happiest player in the team. I want to thank the Governor, the sports loving commission chairman, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, in fact I call him our father. His role in this great journey to success can no be over emphasis. Sir we appreciate you thank you a million times."

"I want to also thank my teammates for believing in themselves, their resilience spirit, the unity and understanding that drove us this far. I want to urge us to continue with this winning mentality that is already embedded in us. We are going for an up hill task now nothing should set us apart. We are prepare to conquer Africa. Our eyes are on the prestigious CAF Women's Champions Trophy."

Atume Doosuur, " I'm so happy to be in Edo Queens, first and foremost I want to thank God and the amiable chairman of the Sports Commission Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, members of his Executives, our coaches, fans, my colleagues, and all football stakeholders in the State for their supports."

"We are happy for ending the season without major set back. Edo Queens is on course, we know the challenges ahead and we are ready for it" We want to win double, we are ready for the Continental show piece."

On her scoring prowess she said: " It is God. I always prayed to God to help my team. We have ended the season as champions of the NWFL but it is not yet Uhuru, the big fight is coming that is the WAFU-B. My prayers is that God will give Edo Queens FC victory over all opponents Our dream is to win the CAF Champions League."
