Danger as FIFA meeting threatened 

The much-anticipated meeting between world football governing body, FIFA, CAF and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja is under threat

.http://www.sportsunlimited.ng gathered that a member of the Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau led board is allegedly trying to scuttle the process.

According to our source, the board member, one of the deputies to Alhaji Gusau has refused to resign and this might make the FIFA delegation to stop the process of normalisation in Nigeria.

The board member is the only member of the Alhaji Gusau team who refused to resign and this has become a concern to the leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC).

We can report exclusively that the NSC has resorted to lobbying the Chief of Staff to the President, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila to get the attention of the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu to force the board member to resign so as to allow a smooth normalisation process.

The board member, a strong APC faithful, we further gathered has stormed Aso Rock to leverage on his contacts with the Presidency.

The leadership of the NSC, it was learnt, are at a crossroads on the development as it might force FIFA to gettison the planned Normalisation Committee for the NFF.
