FIFA, CAF meeting: Ikpeme invites 9 FA members, NPFL, NNL, others from zonesAs the FIFA and CAF delegation arrive Nigeria this weekend, the Acting General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Barrister Emmanuel Ikpeme has sent out invitations to the category of people expected to attend the meeting with the visitors on Sunday.According to a memo personally signed by Barrister Ikpeme, the meeting is scheduled to hold at the Abuja Continetal Hotel Abuja by 4:30pm.
The letter reads; "following the recent events in our esteemed organisation Nigeria Foothall Federation (NFF) and the meeting of the NFF Administration and the National Sports Commission wi FIFA Headquarters in Zurich on 1st September, 2026, a delegation of FIFA and CAF are due to be in Nigeria for a meeting with the representatives of the members of NFF for an onsite assessment of the current situation."Furthermore, the delegation of FIFA and CAF are to meet with the following representatives of NFF members: State Foothall Associations: Nine (9) representative. Coaches Association: the President and Two (2) other members (One (1) each from North and the South; Referees' Association: The President and Two (2) other members (One (1) each from North and the South). Players Union: The President and Two (2) other members north and the South.
From the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) are the COO and two (2) club officials (one (1) each from the North and the NWFL: The COO and two (2) club officials (one (1) each.
Representing the Nigeria National League (NNL) will be the COO and two (2) club officials (One (1) each from the North and the South) NLO: The COO and Two (2) club officials (One (1) each from the North and the South).
