4 years after, NFF inaugurates Ethics Committee ... Via zoom

In a desperate move to align all electoral processes for the September 27, 2026, election, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, last week Thursday, inaugurated the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Ethics Committee via zoom.

The inauguration of the committee is coming at the heels of the end of the tenure of the present Executive Committee of the Ibrahim Gusau led Exco.

The five-man membership Ethics Committee is one of the most important Committees of the football federation. It has Mainasara Ilo as his chairman, who had to relinquish his position as chairman because of his appointment as DG of the Nigeria Doping Agency.

The committee also has two former General Secretary of the Federation, Dr. Tijani Yusuf and Ambassador Fanny Amu as members.

The NFF had in April 2nd, inaugurated the Electoral and Appeals Committees to conduct it's election.

The election into the Executive Board of the Nigeria Football Federation has been fixed for 26th September, 2026 in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
