Premier League action continues this weekend with significant implications at both ends of the table as the title race, bids for European places and relegation battle all come into focus.  All matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport on DStv and GOtv.

League leaders, Arsenal, face struggling Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon. Mikel Arteta’s men are winless in their last three league matches and know any further slip could see their lead reduced dramatically by the end of the weekend. Leeds, currently 16th, showed resilience in a recent draw with Everton and will hope to frustrate the Gunners on home soil.

Saturday evening sees Chelsea host West Ham United in a London derby at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea arrive in strong form after four consecutive wins across all competitions and have climbed into fifth place, just one point behind the final guaranteed Champions League spot. West Ham, meanwhile, sit in the relegation zone and are under pressure to halt a poor run of results.

Liverpool close Saturday  at Anfield against Newcastle United. The Reds’ league form has dipped, leaving them sixth. Newcastle remain firmly in the race for European qualification, making this a crucial fixture for both sides.

Sunday’s action begins at Old Trafford, where Manchester United host Fulham. United have surged into fourth place after consecutive wins over Manchester City and Arsenal, but Fulham’s impressive season has kept them within touching distance of the European places. All Premier League matches are broadcast live on SS Premier League (DStv Ch. 203, GOtv Ch. 65).

The weekend concludes in North London as Tottenham Hotspur face Manchester City. Spurs have struggled domestically despite strong European form, while City will look to build momentum after returning to winning ways and apply pressure on Arsenal at the summit.
