The Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC) has arrived in London ahead of the 2026 Unity Cup, where Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be aiming to successfully defend the title they won last year.

Led by its National President, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi, the delegation touched down in London on Sunday ahead of the invitational tournament scheduled to run from May 26 to May 30, 2026.

Nigeria will begin their campaign against Zimbabwe on May 26, with a place in the final up for grabs. Should the Super Eagles overcome Zimbabwe, they will face the winner of the clash between Jamaica and India in the final.

The supporters club, under the leadership of Prince Ogunjimi, also played a visible role during the 2025 edition of the Unity Cup, where Nigeria emerged champions.

Speaking after arriving in London, Ogunjimi said the decision to travel with members of the supporters club was to ensure the Super Eagles enjoy massive backing throughout the competition.

“We are here because the Super Eagles must never lack support anywhere they play. Every match and every tournament is important to us as supporters, and we are fully ready to stand behind the team once again”.

He further assured the players that their “12th man” is fully prepared to provide the energy and motivation needed during the tournament.

“Our drums, trumpets, voice, and spirit are ready. The players should expect maximum support from us because we believe in this team, and we want them”.

ANFASSC also played a vital role in cheering the Super Eagles at the last Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where the three-time African champions finished third.
