The Chairman of Kaduna Volleyball Association (KADSVA) has once again slashed N2.8 million on scholarship for promising volleyball players in the state.

Scholarship: Again, Nimrod splashes millions on scholarship for Kaduna volleyball players

The Chairman of Kaduna Volleyball Association (KADSVA) has once again slashed N2.8 million on scholarship for promising volleyball players in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the KADSVA board member representing media, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available to newsmen.

It explained that the annual scholarship cuts across students in tertiary institutions across the country.

According to the statement, 14 players benefitted from the tertiary institutions category, getting N80,000 each.

They are, Agape Sunday, Ramatu Abdulmalik, Joy Lawrence, Joy Osumuriyi, Fani Stephen, Patience Abuh, Ramatu Hamza, Emmanuel Nicholas, Jethro Danlami, Chinoye John, Esther Ogazi, Jamilu Musa, Bobai Andrew and Mohammed Abubakar.

Similarly, Nimrod's monthly stipends of N30,000 to elite players was paid for eight months to seven beneficiaries, with each receiving N240,000.

The beneficiaries are Emmanual Alex, Itodo Ojonimi , Emmanuel Samuel, Isaac A. James, Rosemary Sunday, Pamela Bawa, Blessing Okpara.

The beneficiaries who were excited, praised Engineer Nimrod, who is also the president of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) for the gesture.

They prayed for God to keep protecting and blessing him.
