Ranchers pip Green Atlas 1-0 in pre-season friendly 

As part of their build up to their return to the.Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Ranchers Bees pipped Nationwide side, Green Atlas 1-0 on Wednesday.

The two teams pulled a very large crowd at the Ranchers Bees Rimi College training ground with good display of soccer artistry. 

Green Atlas dominated the first 20 minutes of the game with good ball possession keeping Ranchers Bees at bay.

But the NPFL turned the heat, the consequence was the mistake by Green Atlas defender, Umar's error to place the ball in front of Oscar Gabriel of Ranchers who buried the ball behind goalkeeper Cosmos of Green Atlas for the only goal.

The second half started with both teams making several changes. The fans were treated to good display of football with the two teams throwing away scoring chances 

Ranchers Bees got a penalty on the dot of timing but it was ballooned  over the bar.

After the match, the General Manager of Ranchers Bees, Kabiru Muazu said he was impressed with the style of play of Green Atlas and advised them to take the league seriously so they could be one of the teams to beat years to come. 

The coach of Green Atlas, Shola Adewuyi thanked the management of Ranchers Bees for the friendly match opportunity while appreciating the chairman of Green Atlas Football Club, DR  Tayo Adebisi for the support he has been giving the players, coaches and management.
