Quadre, tennis teammates secure Nigeria's last silver and bronze

Florida based Oyinlono Quadre, Divine Nweke, Adesuwa and Marylove Edward on the last day of 13th African Games gave Nigeria silver medal in tennis team event to strengthen Nigeria's 2nd position.

Oyinlono expected to finish with gold however, they lost twice to the Egyptians in the tennis finals at Borteyman Sports Complex.

Also Oyinlono and Divine claimed silver medal after winning the Moroccan female team earlier.

Nigeria tennis Head coach, Benson Ishicheli was excited because his medals came a a big supprize due to rankings.

"The games was quite an interesting experience. Top 200 ranked players were here from Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and more because of Olympic qualifications . I have exceeded my expectations by winning medals. We are going to prepare for Davis Cup with confidence."
