Galatasaray has confirmed that injured Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has begun his rehabilitation from his injury.
After missing out on Monday's training session ahead of the club's away game to Latvia club, Rigas Skola, the Nigerian had a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan at the club's medical facility.
His MRI scan result which arrived on Tuesday, showed the extent of his injury.
Galatasaray in an official statement said: "The MRI scan result of our football player Victor Osimhen, who felt pain in his left upper back muscle during the Kasımpaşa match in the seventh week of the Trendyol Super League is out and it was detected to have a strain (strain and bleeding) in the left upper back muscle, he has started treatment."
It's expected that Osimhen will be out of action for 1 week to 10 days, thus will miss Thursday's UEFA Europa League tie against Rigas Skola and the weekend Turkish Super Lig game away to Alanyaspor.
