Ola Aina returns after international break
Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has provided Nottingham Forest some good news regarding his fitness, as Nuno Espirito Santo hopes the club have better luck on the injury front as they fight for Premier League survival. The Reds now find themselves in the bottom three after being docked four points for breaching financial rules. They have nine games left to try to claw their way out of trouble. Update from the City Ground informed that the Nigerian who suffered a muscle injury will return to the starting line-up after the international break. Aina played the full 90 minutes for Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations final on February 11 but was carrying an injury. He was pictured doing some training last week but was not part of the squad at Brighton. According to Nuno: "He is better. He has started his individual sessions now, but he is not yet with the group. If things go well with his recovery, I think he can join us after the international break." Meanwhile, Aina’s last appearance for Nottingham Forest was against Manchester United on December 30, where Forest secured a 2-1 victory at the City Ground. Despite his injury setback, Aina has scored once and created another goal in twelve league starts for the Reds this season, showcasing his versatility and contribution to the team.
