Ola Aina gets almost 100 percent rating in win over Liverpool

Nigeria international, Ola Aina was one of the top performers for Nothingham Forest in the team's shock 1-0 victory over Liverpool Sunday, www.sportsunlimited.ng reports.

It was Amie Slot's first defeat as Liverpool manager with Callum Hudson -Odoi getting the winning goal as Nuno Espirito Santo's Reds beat Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.

And Super Eagles left back, Aina was excellent throughout. He not only stopped Liverpool on his own but also made a last-ditch clearance in the second half to summed up a fine afternoon to earn a rating of 9/10.

He alongside Nikola Milenkovic, who marshalled the back line expertly; constantly talking to his teammates to make a huge collective effort, were rated on same point.

Murillo and Alex Moreno completed joined Aina and Milenkovic on same rating while goalkeeper Matz Sels was rated next to the quartet especially keeping out Alexis Mac Allister with 37 minutes gone, but was almost left red-faced when he dropped a Diaz header through his own legs. Forest generally looked solid, though.

The victory was Forest's first league win at Anfield for 55 years.

Meanwhile, the other Nigerian on the bill of Forest, Taiwo Awoniyi was an unused substitute in the game.
