Okoye keeps 8th clean sheet of the season

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has continued his impressive season with his eight clean sheet in Udinese's 3-0 away win against AC Milan on Saturday.

Okoye who was forced to abandoned the Super Eagles' camp in the international friendlies against Iran and Jordan through injury returned to full match fitness in the Serie A game and guided his team to victory with a hundred percent showing.

Before the Udinese's win against AC Milan, Okoye has kept seven clean sheets in Serie A for Udinese during the 2025/2026 season.

Okoye recently achieved a notable run in March/April 2026, including a clean sheet against Como on April 6, 2026.

He achieved his 7th clean sheet of the season in the 0-0 draw against Como, helping secure valuable points for Udinese.

During the 2026 campaign, he has shown consistency, averaging high save numbers and becoming a regular starter, with reports noting he is close to matching his personal best of 10 clean sheets in a season.

In February 2024, he also achieved back-to-back clean sheets against Monza and Juventus.
