The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) will officially unveil Japanese coach Ryan Masajedi as the new head coach of Nigeria's national volleyball teams on Tuesday, 4 August 2026, at the Indoor Sports Hall, Package B, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The unveiling marks a significant milestone in the federation's ongoing efforts to strengthen the technical development of volleyball in Nigeria and improve the competitiveness of the country's national teams on the continental and global stage.
Coach Ryan Masajedi is expected to bring Japanese coaching philosophy, technical discipline, tactical innovation, and international experience to Nigerian volleyball.
