Despite losing by a solitary goal to fellow Lagos side, Inter Lagos, Sporting Lagos have been crowned the champions of the 2025/26 NNL season.

Sporting garnered a total of six points and a plus 5 goals to edge out Inter who placed second on same six points but inferior goals difference.

Aside the trophy, Sporting Lagos also went home with the N10 million star prize while Inter Lagos, Ranchers Bees and Doma United that came second, third and fourth respectively got consolation prize of N2 million each.

The surprise result of the closing day matches was the 3-1 victory of Ranchers Bees over Doma United while fans enjoyed the electric atmosphere provided by award winning singer, Portable immediately after the games.
