Nigerians rally Super Eagles in Fez ahead of clash with Tunisia
As the Super Eagles of Nigeria prepare to face the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in less than five hours, Nigerian supporters in Fez have begun rallying strong support for the team ahead of the crucial encounter.
The President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club, Chief Vincent Okumagba, said he and members of the supporters club are in Fez to ensure Nigeria records victory over Tunisia.
He expressed confidence in the team’s ability, insisting that the Super Eagles have what it takes to emerge triumphant.
Chief Okumagba charged the players to approach the game with passion and commitment, noting that the supporters club is fully on ground to cheer, sing, and clap for Nigeria throughout the match.
Also speaking, a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Sports, Hon. Rukayat Shittu, alongside her deputy, Hon. Abdulkareem Mohammed Musa, who is also in Morocco, said their presence in Fez underscores the commitment of the present administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to football development.
Meanwhile, the weather condition in Fez is extremely cold but favourable for football, a development expected to suit the Super Eagles, many of whom are accustomed to playing in similar conditions.
A victory will secure Nigeria a place in the next round of the competition.
