The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), have had to depend on China to buy replica Jerseys that was given to top government officials, stakeholders and the deplomatic community at the 35th edition of the African Cup of Nations in Morocco, a source told www.sportsunlimited.ng.

According to our source, the purchase of the replica Jerseys cost the Nigeria Football Federation, huge sum of money in Dollars, but refuse to disclose the exact amount.

NIKE, was to supply kits worth $1million to the Nigerian National teams, but instead failed to supply the NFF with sufficient kits to catered for all it's five National teams, a situation our source said, was the reason the federation resorted to buying Jerseys from vendors.

The current NFF kit sponsorship agreement with NIKE, originally signed in 2015, is expected to expire in December 2026, meanwhile, Adidas and Puma are bidding and ready to offer NFF an improved kit sponsorship package.
