NFF notifies delegates of Elective Congress date, venue

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has dispatched notification to member state and delegate, leagues bodies, coaches, referees and players association of the September 26, 2026 Elective Congress slated for Lafia, the Nassarawa capital.

In a letter dated June 26, 2026 and signed by it's General Secretary, Dr. Muhammad Sanusi, said the notification was in accordance with Article 32 of the NFF status and by order of the executive committee.

The NFF had on April 2, 2026 inaugurated the Electoral Committee and Electoral Appeal Committee after it's Extraordinary General Assembly of the Federation in Yenagoa, Bayelsa capital.

A total of 12 person's were appointed into the two committees, with seven of them to serve on the electoral committee and five to serve on the Appeal committee.

The Electoral Committee is to supervise the electoral process in accordance with the relevant provision of the statutes of the NFF (March 2026)
