Ndidi returns to Leicester City training next week
Leicester City manager, Enzo Maresca has given hints that Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi would soon start playing again.
At a press conference ahead the Championship game against Queens Park Rangers today, the Foxes gaffer said hopefully the Super Eagles midfielder would starts training with his colleagues.
Ndidi has not played since December 2023 with an injury that ruled him out of the Africa Cup of Nations.
But Maresca, at the pre-match conference, was full of hopes that the defensive midfielder could join the team's training as early as next week.
While asserting that Ndidi will miss the QPR game, Maresca said "Ndidi is still out. That's it."
"But he already started to do part of the session with us. Next week, hopefully he can finish sessions with us. He's a very important player for us."
The Foxes welcome QPR to the King Power Stadium looking to return to winning ways in the Championship title race following back-to-back defeats.
