Liverpool is ready to battle Paris Saint-Germain to sign Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen and fix their goalscoring problem, reports www.sportsunlimited.ng.

PSG and Liverpool want Osimhen during the upcoming summer transfer window to bolster their attacking ranks.

Napoli has struggled to repeat last season’s dominant form and currently ninth in the Serie A. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old has continued to contribute in front of goals amid the Italian team’s poor form.

Osimhen has scored 16 goals and provided four assists in all competitions from 29 appearances for Napoli this season.

The Nigerian contributes immensely in the attacking phases of the game and works tirelessly for his team.

Osimhen could be the perfect competition that Darwin needs to revitalize the prolific form he showed for Benfica.

The Uruguay international can also play as a left winger and he remains important with his overall contribution for Liverpool.

However, Liverpool needs to break the bank to secure Osimhen as he is worth 130 million euros to Napoli, according to his release clause.
