Kano SWAN names Rabiu Ali Player of the Month

Old war horse, Rabiu Ali has been named Kano Pillars Player of the Match by the Kano State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) following his outstanding performance against Enyimba International of Aba on Sunday.

The award was presented to him after the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match Sunday evening in Kano. 

The award is named after Pillars fans code named Sai Masu Gida fans.

The midfield maestro tormented the opposition, asserting his authority in midfield and providing assists for both goals scored by Chiedozie Jude Okorie and Ahmed Musa. 

He was denied three times by the Enyimba goalkeeper, while a fourth effort from a free kick rattled the post.
