Jabi Abuja All Stars FC organise 13km health fitness walk

An Abuja-based football club, Jabi All Stars FC, have successfully organised an invitational 13-kilometre road walk, trekking to and fro Jabi Junior Secondary School to Wuse Market.

The milestone event, according to organisers, which involved other six different invited football clubs was the 4th edition of the health Walk.

While explaining the motive behind the historic event, the club chairman, Sir Dr Kenechukwu Offor, said that it has become part of the 15 years existence of the club 

According to Offor, "Jabi All Stars FC uses its platform to promote sports, fitness , and health related activities. We are also involved in Corporate Social Responsibilities.The club has existed for about 15 years.

The club is currently, ably led by Sir Dr Kenechukwu Offor as the Chairman.

We have annual events, such as, annual thanksgiving, annual health walk and annual in-house tournament, with other events in-between.

"Last week, we had the 4th edition of our health walk, covering up to 13km, from Jabi Junior Secondary School to Wuse Market, and back. Six different clubs were invited to join the walk and post walk events, such as health lectures, testing and examination of vitals.

"The turnout was exceptional! Beyond the physical fitness benefits, our presence in the streets served as a powerful branding exercise, projecting the vibrant image of Jabi All Stars to the wider community.

"We also had our annual thanksgiving service at Basilica of Grace Anglican Church, Gudu, Abuja. It was a moment of reflection and grace as we gathered to dedicate our members to the Almighty. Starting our year with gratitude ensures we move forward with divine favour," he said.
