The last time Iheanacho played for Celtic was on February 26, 2026, appearing as a substitute in a 1-0 away win against VfB Stuttgart in the UEFA Europa League. He signed a one-year contract with Celtic on September 2, 2025, and made his debut on September 14, 2025. 

Celtic have won the last three meetings at Celtic Park between the two clubs, while Motherwell’s last win at the ground came in 2015.
