Iheanacho set for biggest payday with Saudi Arabia transfer

Free agent Kelechi Iheanacho will earn his biggest payday as a footballer should he complete a transfer to Saudi Arabia.

The 27-year-old striker is currently in discussions with an unnamed Saudi Arabian club.

Iheanacho has quit English club Leicester City after his contract ran out this summer and he is expected to soon accept the petro-dollars from the Saudis that will secure the financial future of his young family.

His Transfermarkt valuation is estimated at €12 million.

He will join fellow Super Eagles stars like Henry Onyekuru and Odion Ighalo in the oil-rich kingdom.

This past season, he scored six goals in the English Championship for Leicester City to make an immediate return to the Premier League.
