Igdir F.K's striker Ayomide Wahab has stated emphatically that he is not interested in representing the Turkish Junior National Team.

Following his brilliant goalscoring performance this year, there have been calls for Ayomide Wahab to switch into teaming up with the Turkish National Under 19 or 20 side.

Ayomide Wahab who joined Igdir F.K only in January 2026 has scored 8 goals in 4 games creating two assists and he is now among the joint top-scorers competing with Yagizer and Billor who both started the League with their clubs since last year.

The Nigerian has so far been getting commendations in Turkey for his superb display on the pitch with football fans urging him to continue shinning for his club.

While reacting, Ayomide Wahab explained that scoring gives him joy adding that he works hard everyday for him to be able to help his club on Matchday.

"Whenever I score, it gives me joy and zeal to do more and help my team whenever I'm called to play.

"Nigeria is my country and I can never represent any other national team," Ayomide Wahab declared.

Wahab is expected to lead Igdir F.K's next game in the Under 19 League in Turkey.
