In a related development, the Congress has told the National Sports Commission that Acting NFF General Secretary, Barrister Emmanuel Ikpeme wouldn't function in that capacity once everything is settled rather he should revert to his former position as Deputy General Secretary.

The FAs grouse was Ikpeme's expressed dissolution of the Congress when he lacked such power to do so.
