Chelle risks court case over decision to quit Eagles Job
Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle will be up for a legal battle if he goes ahead to quit the job in the wake of a fresh new offer from Angola.
Chelle is said to have been widely impressed by the latest offer from Angola, even though he still has a year to run on his current deal as coach of the Nigerian team.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are hoping he will agree to a new two year deal, although talks have stalled after he switched to a new agent only three days ago.
His former agent will seek legal redress if he goes ahead to accept the proposal from Angola, which he got while they were still working, according to French journalist Romain Molina.
NFF are however optimistic that the coach, who led the Super Eagles to a bronze medal spot at the AFCON will commit to a new deal, or see out the remaining one year.
In the event that he decides to leave by terminating his deal, they are going to demand for a compensation for the remaining one year of his deal.
