Hundreds of the less privileged men and women, including the elderly were on Monday, celebrated and gifted food items by the Bola Orija Charity Foundation.

The well-attended event held inside the Registry hall of Oshodi-Isolo local government, drew politicians, businessmen and community leaders from far and near.

In his special, the convener and founder of the Bola Orija Charity Foundation, Hon. Bolanle Orija, expressed his delight at the attendance of the recipients and the dignitaries who graced the event.

He stated that the event which is aimed at giving back to the community, particularly, the less privileged and the elderly, would not be a one-off event, as the foundation plans to extend its initiatives to giving academic scholarship and skills acquisition opportunities to people of the Oshodi-Isolo local government and beyond.

"This foundation is borne out of the desire to keep the enviable legacy of my father late Pa Israel Orija, as well as, contributing our own quota to the well being of the people, which aligns with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu."

The youthful businessman and philanthropist went ahead to praise the groundbreaking efforts and contributions of Young Professionals For Tinubu (YP4T), who are renowned for their life-changing and impactful programmes, that continued to inspire the people.

Responding, the National Chairman of Young Professionals For Tinubu, Hon. John CDO Iketuonye, commended Bolanle Orija, for his selflessness and assured him of the continued support of YP4T.
