The Oduduwa Supports Groups Organisations (OSGO) has extended warm birthday felicitations to renowned businessman and philanthropist Kunle Soname, describing him as a visionary leader and illustrious son of Oduduwa whose impact continues to resonate across Nigeria and beyond.
In a statement released by its Director General, Otunba Olusola Orelaja, the group joined the people of Yorubaland, Remo Land, and the wider Nigerian community in celebrating the life and achievements of the prominent entrepreneur, founder of Remo Stars FC, who clocks 60 today, April 27.
According to the statement, Soname’s journey represents “a masterclass in vision and grit", highlighting his remarkable contributions to business, aviation, and sports development. From the success of Bet9ja in Nigeria’s gaming sector to the emergence of ValueJet in the aviation industry, his ventures have not only built thriving enterprises but have also generated employment and economic opportunities for thousands of Nigerians.
OSGO further praised Soname’s strategic investments in sports, noting that his ownership of C.D. Feirense in Portugal, alongside his support for Remo Stars Football Club and the Beyond Limits Football Academy, has elevated Nigerian and Yoruba talent onto the global stage.
These initiatives, the group noted, underscore his commitment to youth empowerment and international excellence. Beyond his corporate accomplishments, the organisation emphasised Soname’s philanthropic disposition, describing him as a man whose quiet but consistent acts of kindness have positively impacted many lives.
