The President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Chief Tonobok Okowa, has condoled with Mr. Maxwell Kumoye, Chairman of the Media Committee of the AFN over the shocking demise of his beloved wife, Mrs. Funmilayo Kumoye.

AFN President condoles with Kumoye over loss of wife
The President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Chief Tonobok Okowa, has condoled with Mr. Maxwell Kumoye, Chairman of the Media Committee of the AFN over the shocking demise of his beloved wife, Mrs. Funmilayo Kumoye.
Chief Okowa in a statement he personally signed said everyone at the federation shares in the pains of the Kumoye family at this trying time and prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
Okowa said: “I was incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of your dear wife. She was always so thoughtful and kind. She will truly be missed. I know there are no words that can ease your pain at this time, please be comforted that God will continue to protect the children and entire family. Just know that we, at the AFN will always be here for you no matter what.”
“I am aware Mr. Kumoye shares great time with the late wife. You were virtually inseparable. May all your wonderful memories comfort you during this heartbreaking time.”
