Adeboye hails Seyi Tinubu over support for Smart City

The Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports Development to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, has hailed the son of the president, Seyi Tinubu, for his tremendous financial support to Lagos NNL side, Smart City FC.

Adeyinka also lauded the First Son for tipping the team for greatness, saying, the president's son has seen the constant growth of the club from its academy days to its presently level.

He thanked Seyi Tinubu for his vision to see the club playing in the Nigerian Premier League and also achieving laurels in the African continent in the nearest possible future.

"Seyi Tinubu has followed Smart City from its cradle and he's very elated over the steady growth of the club, saying he will continue to give all the necessary support to the club to make sure they achieve their desired goals", Adeyinka, who's the sponsor of the club said.

"Our President’s son is a passionate supporter of youths and sports development and he has shown that commitment over the years and this represents his vision, partnership, and unwavering commitment to nurturing talents from the grassroots to global stage. 

"With Seyi Tinubu, other leaders and sponsors who believe in the dream of development, the future of grassroots football and sports in Nigeria is brighter than ever", he added.

Smart City FC is currently playing in the NNL, and hopes to play in the NPFL in the nearest possible future.
